I'd rather Haxorus be Dragon/Steel than Hydreigon actually. Hydreigon has a unique typing that, while giving it a 4x weakness to Fairies, helps set it apart. Plus I wouldn't want it getting too broken.

I feel like the ORAS megas are a huge step up from XY's, actually. Maybe it's just me. There aren't any megas like Manectric or Houndoom. While I don't Hydreigon will be getting a mega soon, it does get me hopeful that they've taken to simplifying mega designs.
