A lot-- and I mean a LOT-- of /vp/s bullfuckery would be fixed if people just learned this.
I don't know what it is about people in general, but it's hard for so many to understand that just because something exists outside of their taste, that said thing is then factually bad/of low quality.
Like, fuck. This isn't even just a 4chan thing, either. Just a human nature thing. People get so damn defensive if their personal taste isn't catered to.
I personally think that the incarnate kami trio is really ugly, but I recognize that, despite what the majority of /vp/ thinks, they're really damn good designs. The copy+paste criticism is definitely intentional and not laziness
like, seriously, these fuckers made 700 final designs, most of which inevitably went through, at the least, 10 rough drafts, and countless others that haven't made it into the final cut, and you think that they couldn't be bothered to differ 3 designs more? No, it's clearly intentional. , incorporating the inspiration into a unique way. The rings were drawn straight from the painting, but made to mesh into their physical bodies, going as far as giving origin to them with the therian formes. Not to mention, they took likely Western inspiration by making them resemble genies and onis at the same time. The color schemes and shape of their mustaches were even designed to give light elemental influence, making them obviously of the type that they're from.
Point being is, it's not hard to appreciate something even if you dislike it.
