You'll have to define "rebooted".
B/W was a pretty interesting attempt at rebooting the games by implementing pretty much only new Pokémon. But do you mean like a hard reboot, starting from square 1 with none of the old Pokémon available at all from one point forward?

Because if you mean that, I'd be so goddamn happy.

Black and White should've been a soft reboot but they fucking blew it.
It was so simple! No more evolutions or any of that to pre generation 5 Pokémon.
Generation 6 has evolutions of generation 5, possibly visiting Unova, and having several Unova Pokémon in Kalos.
But no, we got another Sinnoh, trying desperately to compromise between making something new and being a sequel. We ended up with another insulting example of the dried Pokémon formula.

What are you saying? BW WAS a minor reboot, until the postgame. No evolutions, no old Pokemon at all. And BW2 just added in a wide variety for everyone to enjoy, while still keeping a large focus on Unova mons. It was all handled pretty well, though I do feel they didn't go far enough (The gym leader formula for one thing)

Unless you're talking about Kalos.

Oh right, then I agree. It's also amazing how they went RIGHT to pandering to gen one nostalgia with all the Kanto bullshit they pulled in Kalos, while Unova was the exact opposite. Even the gen one parallels like Conkledurr or Gigalith were unique, standing as their own thing despite the obvious similarities to Machamp and Golem. What the hell happened?
