Hey /vp/, I'm trying to buy a new copy of HG or SS with the pokewalker in Canada but can't find it in any stores or online for $40 or less ($50 is fine too).

Any of you know a website or store that still has it in stock?

Welcome to the club, OP. I'm in Michigan and I've been hunting for a copy of SS that isn't $35~$40 and isn't a fucking bootleg for a while now.

I'd suggest searching or asking around locally. The strangest deals can show up on craigslist from people who don't know what they're doing and sometimes friends will sell for far less. Just the other day my friend promised to sell me his SS for $20. It remains to be seen if he'll actually do it, but I'm hopeful.

Those are very likely fakes since they come from China. Pokemon games are very commonly and widely bootlegged due to their huge demand. The fakes tend to look very similar to the originals and can even come with full cases and manuals.

Good luck I have been looking for months and haven't found one even without the Pokewalker for less that $80. Your best bet is to go for Kijiji or Craigslist and try and find someone who doesn't know what they go for now.
