I've been hearing all kinds of stories about how GameStop was telling people they had to pre-order ORAS to get the codes for either the Pinsir or Heracross mega stones.

Did anyone who had the problem actually mention to them that a pre-order wasn't necessary? My local GameStop tried to pull the same shit. I first had called to make sure they had the codes in stock, they did and the guy tells me its for people who pre-order either Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. I corrected him and told him that the pre-order bonus was the poster not the code(s) and even read what the main Pokémon site said about the Mega Stone codes. He tells me then that it's fine and to come and get the codes whenever I can, before I hung I told that I'd show him on my phone what the site said so that he knew I wasn't making shit up. I went into the store, took my phone with me showed him the site page and got three codes. End of story.

Don't let the GameStop employees fuck you over guys.

Hopefully come October I'll tell these dipshits off again just in case they try and get slick with the having to pre-order something story.
