Not all lakes are so small that you can see the shores on the other side. The Great Lakes around Michigan are all like that.

I think Diancie is the one that created the Anistar Sundial and some how has a connection to Mega Stones

I personally think Zygarde created it. Diancie, Hoopa, etc. are referred to as Mythical Pokemon ingame while the sundial was created by what the game refers to as a Legendary Pokemon. In addition, the sundial reacts to the energies of Xerneas and Yveltal while Zygarde sits in a cave right outside Anistar.

Isn't Snowbelle city that climate simply because Wulfric brought a few Abomasnow to live in the town, so now it is it near constant snowstorm despite the location.

Yes, but if you notice, you'll see your breath from Dendemille to Anistar, so it's a colder climate through there. Map kind of makes sense.

Also, I highly doubt that would be to scale. So it supports the idea that the river by Anistar is huge and can't see where the land meets.
