They're right about Powersaves taking over, but WFG is still a trading haven. Just go there, bring what you have, see something you like, interact. Everyone there is generally nice.

It's so easy to go to a thread and ask for breeding leftovers - people are happy to give them out free for any random shitmon on the gts - why bother actually trading? You can just get a 6 iv ditto, there are giveaways all the time, and just go around asking for leftovers and you'll get all the 4-5 iv scraps with egg moves you could possibly need to make any build of any mon you need. Even if you can't get the ditto, breeding is super easy once you build up some breeding stock.
