Me and my buddy still play, he still hasn't beaten me and we have known each other since grade school. Also my dad plays as well but only pokemon stadium on the 64. I still play kirby air ride daily with people

I initially dropped Pokemon after Silver, but after I picked up X, I've been playing with a good friend I've known since 5th grade. Its like we went back to 1998 in a Nintendo-Powered time machine.

I play with my foreigner friends mostly because Pokemon doesn't really have a good reputation in my country and is only associated with small children.
Therefore I have no one to play Pokemon with in person or talk about it in my native language. My fiance also doesn't care about Pokemon but at least he doesn't mind me playing it. He sometimes even congratulates if I find/hatch a shiny and such.

sister and i have been playing since platinum & HG/SS
oldest sister and i have been playing since RBY days i stopped after crystal version she continued playing amd got sapphire i was mad i couldn't transfer monsters from gbc to gba

i never bought ruby or emerald to play with her then ended up moving far away. we still play x & y online though
pokemon brought my family together
even my parents know most of the gen 1&2 monsters because of tgc
