Hoenn babies are the stupid ones who didn't realize premier balls didn't exist then.

I have shit memory though. (Genwunner here) The pokeballs didn't even look different besides in the anime, did they? My gold, silver, and crystal's internal battery died like 8 years ago.

pokeballs werent displayed until gen 3, it didnt matter what you used it on back then, the only thing that changed was catch rates

I've only ever used the Master ball in the original RED/BLUE games to catch Mewtwo. Never used it since I like the thrill of beating down a legendary to with a fraction of it's health and watching that Ultra ball wiggle for the last time before it clicks.

I swear every time I stop breathing, I tense up and don't blink, then when I read "Gotcha! Mewtwo was caught!" I feel rewarded for my time and effort. Where is the fun in using a Master ball?

I used my masterball on lugia but that's because it was shiny and I had wasted all my premier balls and stuff on it, was afraid it might struggle after a while.

I actually have never used my master ball outside of that though throughout the generations, I just don't like to use it, I dunno why.
