What exactly makes a wallbreaker such?

Like what makes M-Chomp a wallbreaker, but not regular Garchomp?

What are the defining factors?

Good offensive typing, good movepool, and being able to hit like a fucking truck. I like my wallbreakers a little more bulky, but I think that's personal preference.

Also cuts off their healing. I know Mega gardevoir uses taunt, and crobat too.

Mega heracross and staraptor I think are / were considered wallbreakers I'm the past, as was tyranitar with the tyraniboah set

Wallbreakers are either mixed pokemon (like Chomp, who can run fire blast to counter its most common counters: Skarmory and Ferrothorn) or mons with absurdly high attacking stats that don't qualify as sweepers for one reason or the other (Mega heracross and such).

I've heard several different definitions on "wallbreaker", but generally they have the ability to either use a mixed set to counter specific walls (like giving special Lucario Close Combat so it can murder Blissey, or Alakazan running Psyshock for the same reason) or can boost themselves to the point that the wall can't take it (like Aegislash spamming Swords Dance so it can OHKO Ferrothorn with Sacred Sword)
Here's a few mons I've heard described as "wallbreaker" across a couple different tiers:
Groudon
Mega-Medicham
Lucario
Suicune
Cobalion
Camerupt
Flareon
Bibarel

This might not be 100% accurate to everyone's experience, I'm just saying what I've heard over time.

Nah. Even a lot of that guys post are not wallbreakers. Wallbreakers are the ones who break the stall. The best examples you can get are CharizardX, M-Pinsir, Kyurem-B, SubSpecial Kyurem-B and Keldeo Specs.

Fast enough to outspeed walls. Strong mixed attacking stats and the moves to hit common walls. So a stall core can't just switch around you because you have something for multiple defensive mons. Usally slow enough to not being able to sweep or handle sweepers.

There really aren't Pokemon that are Wallbreakers per sé. Any pokemon with adequate abilities, moves and high offensive power can perform the task. There's just mons that are more fit for the job than others. Overall the qualities of a good Wallbreaker are:

>A good typing both offensively and defensively
>Status moves to boost or ward off status
>The capacity to hit like a +6 Huge Power Choice Band Mega Slaking's Mega Punch
>The capacity to take a hit, specailly if result of a beefy HP stat due to seismic toss. 150 defenses and 50 HP won't do here.
>An ability that either gives them greater power right of the bat (Skill Link for M-Hera), helps them deal with Substitutes (Skill Link again) or helps them shrug off stats (Guts for normal Heracross, Natural Cure, Shed Skin...) or Mold Breaker to ignore boosting walls.
>Speed optional

I find bulky offensive mons to be the best wallbreakers. I also fucking love Heracross.

Somoe Wallbreakers also have the capacity to work as sweepers in a pinch and viceversa. For example, thanks to Psyshock and its absurdly high Sp. Atk Mega Alakazam can function as a Wallbreaker, Trace however lets it down since its mostly unreliable when facing walls. It also absolutely needs to get the KO in one strike lest it be parlyzed or KOed.

Exploud, Rampardos, and Darm are actually classified as wallbreakers in most cases.

All of them hit insanely hard with STAB Boomburst, Head Smash, and Flare Blitz, respectively. Scrappy makes Boomburst hit everything hard while Sheer Force helps the latter two especially. Slap a Choice Item or Life Orb and hit everything that doesn't resist for massive damage.
