Depending on how much special attack and bulk it gets it could see use in UU as a stop to fire types. Nearly everything needs to play around water types anyway because of Scald spam.

We'll see if it gets move via level up/breeding/tutors, but it looks promising. Lowering its already low Speed will mean it will go toe to toe with Mega Mawile and it has two STABs that its weak to. Mega Abomasnow is the same way but weak to just Fire. In terms of the simulators, I don't think it will go well unless Azu gets sent up.

Honestly it doesn't sound half bad. Ground/Fire is not as shit as people make it out to be, being weak only to Water(4x) and Ground, and its stats will probably (hopefully) be special oriented. WIth sheer force and WoW for support, this could become a force to be reckoned with.

And I know that those blue rings turned into rocks/lava-filled cracks, but its sides seem so empty without them. It feels weird to be calling a mega evolution UNDERdesigned.

Just so you know, if it gets even 10 BST in speed it will be able to run a wicked Rock Polish set. I doubt it will be blowing anything away with a non-LO Sheer Force boost, but it could easily become an RU standard.

Assuming it gets 70/100/105 bulk, a specially defensive set with WoW could be alright. It can switch into almost any special Fairy and use WoW to cripple any Earthquake users, Gyarados, and Azumarill that think they can switch in freely. Hopefully it gets Slack Off so it won't have to rely on Rest or Wish support though.

Nah. He's really slow, has middling bulk even after he gets his defense boosts, has no priority, no recovery, and is very weak to common attacking types.

Not a very well-built tank.

He'll be _okay_ in doubles, but his only real job is gonna be Sheer Force Heat Wave spam and you may as well run Yzard for that.

When you are slow as shit and have 70/70/75 defenses a 4x weakness to one of the most common attacking types and a 2x weakness to Earthquake is a very big deal. Even if we assume it gets a +20 boost to both defenses it's still going to be a bitch to get in with that pitiful speed. I'm saying RU at best. Maybe BL2

Yeah. The stats are just too low, that even 100 BST can't improve the bad bulk(which probably won't be centered around defenses), and in top of that, the shitty typing. Even in TR team, it'll struggle most of the time

Sheer Force is only 30%.

It seems to be a fairly common misundestanding that it's 50%.

I think that might be because Sheer Force allows you to run Life Orb for free, giving you 1.3*1.3=1.69 of a multiplier.

But Mega Camerupt can't hold a Life Orb.

Yeah, I don't think it'll be too bad in non-OU environments but holding out for an OU-viable 'mon is probably a bit of a stretch.

OU is such a compact tier as it is anyway I think it'll be hard to break into it, especially when you're x4 weak to Water.

The alternative is Ninetails, who's kinda shitty and shares 0 defensive sinergy with Camerupt.
