i think it could be beneficial if they changed priority to a speed tier based system.

so if a pokemon with 50 base speed used a +1 priority move it would essentially have a speed stat of 75 for that move. it doesn't work for everything but if they worked on it and adjusted priority levels for different moves it could pan out.

That's kinda dumb, though. Dooming slow Pokemon to never score a crit and rapid hitters like garchomp and aerodactyl OHKO most non resists for being slow. Why hurt Pokemon with low speed while they're down?
