Wouldn't be asking this if I had any idea, jesus, great stats, typing, ability, and moveset. The thing wrecks shop.

I get it doesn't have direct recovery (outside of Pain Split when the situation is right), but is that honestly enough to throw it all the way into NU?

He'd have to be OU if he got recover.

It is NU because of the usage statistics. It isn't NU because it is bad in OU or wherever else you want to use it. /thread

I know it's because of usage, guess I'm more asking why it's not used more. Though it was more useful when Aegislash was still in OU scaring all the psychic types out.

A lot of mons that are perfectly viable in OU are at NU, like Avalugg, Bouffalant, Malamar, Muk, Sawk and Vivillon. Thing is, they are usually slightly outclassed by something in the upper tiers, and people tend to be unoriginal and only use the slightly stronger option.
