Emolga was a shittier clone of Pachirisu except brown instead of blue and it has wing flaps.

It should've just been a Pachirisu evolution if anything. Then at least it would have decent stats.

They should've given Pikachu Volt Absorb instead of Static, and then made the regional clones Fire with Flash Fire, Grass with Sap Sipper, Water with Water Absorb, Ground Type with Levitate, Ice with Thick Fat, stuff like that

I always found it odd that many of the pikaclones are barely useable in competitive play with their low stats and shitty abilities...except maybe Pachirisu who was in the world tourney this year

maybe have the different element pikachu's show up each passing gen.

and later reveal that they all come from one pokemon, in this example pichu, have them sprout off in a similar fashion to eevee

and later on, to add an extra dosing of lore, have two mate where their offspring is a combination of the two. pikachu and "the pure fairy type" to make dedenne

I would have preferred it.

I like Electric, and while I didn't mind to begin with, it's dragging on and I don't want to keep seeing it's few slots dedicated to pikaclone fluffballs.

I quite like Helioptile though, so I really can't complain.
