B2W2 were VERY close to being flawless, but the lack wifi Funfest Missions killed it.

Platinum will forever remain a completable flawless pokemon game with endless post game and decent ingame challenge.

I never hype myself to the point where i get thrown into a autistic rage like the majority of /vp/ everytime a game gets released.
6th Gen feels a bit supar though, other than that me and Gamefreak are good.

The Gym leaders in BW ended up becoming one of my favorite parts of the series. We got a (admittedly brief) look at the sort of people they were and how they responded to things, and I found myself loving pretty much all of them.

And in N's palace when the sages abush you right when your Pokemon are weakened, it was the best thing ever when the main theme started and all of them came rushing to your rescue. Really served as a satisfying reminder of what you'd been through to get where you were, just like the Victory Road checkpoint had done before. It was awesome how with each badge the instruments playing increased until you got the full Victory road theme. Shame they didn't revisit it in BW2, I'd been looking forward to it.

It was a nice touch that the memory link in BW2 had more stuff with the Gym leaders too.
