Canadians can get the Pinsir/Heracross Mega Stones through codes being distributed through the September Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter if you opted into receiving emails on your account before Sept 1. The newsletter hasn't been released yet according to their Customer Support.

What I don't get is why they can't just do wireless distributions via mystery gift like they did with torchic/vivillon/pinsir/heracross/etc. I mean, the shiny gengar and diancie are acquired through free distribution codes given out at participating stores. Wouldn't it save Gamefreak money to just do a wireless distribution?
