The dumbest fucking part is that it gets hate JUST for a being a garbage monster, as if having a pollution-based creature in an industrialized region like Unova is a bad thing. And it fits in perfectly too, we've had Pollution based monsters since the third gen.

I don't play Blue to remember the old days. I like many of the new Pokemon, the games too, but Vanilluxe is shit and you can't do anything about it.

It's not that I hate the design or type, or moveset or anything, but it is A FUCKING MAN MADE FOOD

Also, the initial kneejerk reaction to Trubbish and Garbodor, but I have no problems with them anymore.

Never understood the hate for the Vanillite line, though. They're cute, and they're not ACTUALLY ice cream, they're icicles with snow piled on the top. There have been far more bizarre Pokemon ideas.

But it isn't, its just pure snow on an icicle, no emulsified cream with sugar or the such.
Ice cream in the pokemon world was modelled after it in appearance only.

I had a knee jerk reaction against his design when I found out he was real. But its grown on me. I hated it because the hard angles and triangular shapes come out of nowhere, and the tongue around the neck looked as if he was choking himself. Seeing Greninja from different angles made me appreciate his design more.

Then I ran a nuzlocke and realized I was really fucking wrong about greninja.

This so much. When I first saw the blurry leaked photos of it, I thought it was the most poorly designed Pokemon I'd ever seen. I suppose the tongue scarf is what put me off it, but I suppose it was foolish to base my final judgement on a Pokemon, from one blurry photo.

After a while, after I saw more photos and videos of Greninja, and saw how it moved around and acted, I ended up adoring it (Pic related was the moment where I first started to set aside my foolish rage). Now it's my second favorite Pokemon.

It's the worst design of the franchise along with Luvdisc, Stunfisk and other shit. Gen 6 designs were pretty based, Honedge line was an exception.

Swirlix was fine when leaked, but Slurpuff looked absolutely hideous. They could've gone many different and better ways with the evolution. I still think it looks terrible, but a certain Showderp match with a Slurpuff named USA earned my respect.

Slurpuff is cute as fuck. I instantly fell in love with Swirlix and decided it was my favorite Gen VI Pokemon as soon as I saw that it was part dog, but when I saw Slurpuff, I was a bit hesitant at first. Didn't take too long for it to grow on me in the end, and now I really love it.

I would have liked Emboar better if its defenses would have been higher. I know people say to utilize its Sp. Attack because it's 100 but I'm ignorant and only see Emboar as a physical attacker.
