Mewtwo is genderless and was given a female VA in the new film to differenciate it from the COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUT IDENTICAL other Mewtwo in the series.

Why does /vp/ get so enraged about it? I mean sure the movie wasn't very good, but the only part that /vp/ seems to care about is how the genderless cloned cat-monster was voiced by a woman. The last Mewtwo was voiced by a man, did you guys cry about how it shouldn't be because male is also a gender? Fucking Christ.

Not him, but I actually watch the anime, and when most of the losses are shoehorned in/forced Ash being an idiot, it gets tiresome. Besides, even if they let him win one league, it wouldn't "end the series" because they never specified what being a "Pokemon master" means. Who's to say that he would be a master after having one league title?

OP here. It's because everyone thinks that Femtwo is a retcon of Mewtwo, and that her movie and prologue essentially nullify Oldtwo's existence in the anime canon and that she's overridden him.
