The battle was close to finished; this was fortunate, given that the team was running low on stamina. Samus, Mike's Blaziken, was leading the battle at the moment. She was locked in combat with a Moltres, the two fire birds ready to end their clash with a single blow each. Neither had much luck forcing the other's hand so far, given that the Blaziken and Moltres were each immune to the flames of the other. There were a few tricks up the Blaziken's sleeve, though her technique of choice at present was to continue lunging at her opponent with Thunderpunches. [In case it wasn't clear, swinging with Thunderpunch.]

They were addressed to Rika and Arez, and Arez's apparently had something hard and metal inside. A key, it felt like, but a more normally shaped one than the other.

Dear Rika,

I did not mean to depart like this, without a goodbye or any warning. I had suspected my time in Aurora would not come to such a violent end, or what I will assume would have been violent. With that just about all my worldly possessions have been passed along, and so has most of my knowledge. What remains is harder to pass on, but I will try. Rika, I had been alone for a long time in that cave before the incident with Manfred. I had thought myself lost even further when I was killed. They brought me back though, and that told me my life was not yet fulfilled. I had something yet to do. I found it in you. As someone worth passing along the knowledge of an age to, please, use it well. Do not become another me, mine was not an existence to envy. Use it to help the world and better Rocket. I considered you a fool for the longest time, but in hindsight I must admit you usually had a reason for what you did and normally succeeded in what you set out to do. This is a very special key, it opens a safe inside my home on Mt.Coronet that you can access via the teleporter in my lab and the coordinates written on the key. The safe is, cliche as it may be, behind the portrait of the gathering of legends in my study. The key will open the first door, the next is code locked. The code is 209386392. Inside that safe is my most potent weapon, a Celebi and her pokeball. This, amazingly enough, is the third Celebi I have come to own in one form or another, and will be my final gift to Rocket as a whole. Use her well, and think like me.

"There is nothing wrong with Rika, it's just that some of Varnock's research was very dangerous there are still parts of the lab where he set up that we haven't reached due to the security issues, while I wouldn't be surprised if she shared it, I'll have to be careful about how to ask."
