Gallade is responsible for the pregnancy within its species. When one copulates with a Gardevoir, Gallade is the one who carries the fertilized egg within its body. The wider hips on Gallade are to accommodate the egg once it leaves through the birth canal. By the time the daycare man comes around, the egg is already outside the body and ready for hatching. Gallade is the one who becomes "pregnant" in the relationship, kind of like a male seahorse.
