Probably not. The only Pokemon on my future ORAS team that can mega evolve right now is Swampert, and that guy was already ez modo in gen 3, so no point in making this game even easier.

A few megas are stronger than most legendaries and even the ones that aren't are still way too good for the game.

Also I really can't stand seeing that evolution animation every single battle.

fyi, the full mega animation (with the protag pressing the mega ring and shit) shows just once when you load the save

any subsequent battle will use the shortened animation known from the wi-fi and maison battles
