This is how hidden abilities should work.

You breed two pokemon, get a special subspecies with a different ability to normal with unique coloration.

But no, gamefreak will push this retarded identical-but-different hidden ability senseless bullshit for gens to come.

what are you talking about? HA's are just a special ability that can't be obtained normally, since they buff up the pokemon considerably (look at gothitelle) why should breeding have anything to with it? why would this involve a new species?

ideally what GF should do is create certain new pokemon that can only be obtained by breeding two certain species together. phione showed they have this idea in mind, too bad it's a piece of trash.

I don't think i have to tell you how abusable that would be. It should only work in cases where the offspring actually does get that ability naturally, although they could squize in a few exceptions.
