You know what I'm thinking? The ideas behind these abilities might not be new. Maybe the reason they named Kyogre's original ability "Drizzle" (do we have a NON-legendary that has this yet? They gave Ninetails Drought) which is a weak form of rain was based in real world logic thata strong rain could put out fire. Of course, it did weaken fire... Now I guess they figure we're grown up enough we can handle such a strong ability?
