>>20955364But you're talking about Heracross here. There are a few Pokemon that got Megas when they should've just evolved, but Pokemon like Heracross and Scizor and Kangaskhan and Lucario have clearly reached the apex of their normal evolution cycle.
I could understand making this argument for Mawile or Sableye, or maybe Banette and the Dogs, but things like Gyarados and Aerodactyl clearly weren't going any further without Mega Evolution.
