I disagree. The animation was very well done and it hit many of the important parts of Kanto (Lavender town, silph co, mewtwo) succinctly enough. It may not have been top material but it is worth the watch. I can't vouch for/against the anime (haven't watched it since RS saga).

I have watched some of the new series and it's pretty cringe - especially in English. Maybe I just grew out of it, idk
I've actually enjoyed most of the movies up until now so I'll reserve judgement for that

how's that selective memory working out for you anon? Charizard was in 2 episodes out of four, and only appeared in the former (3rd) for about a minute to get KO'd by giovanni's nido.

It didn't even HAVE Thunderbolt in any games. Nor any reason in-story for that thing to be using it. But it spammed it like 9 times for no reason.

You fucking ignorant kids will complain about anything for absolutely no fucking reason.

Rhyhorn learned Thunderbolt via TM in Red and Blue.

In Origins, Rhyhorn used Thunderbolt exactly twice: Once against Kabutops, and once against Jolteon. Giovanni comments that Jolteon must have been underleveled for it to have knocked it out. Abilities like Volt Absorb didn't exist in Gen 1, so it was entirely possible for that to play out.

But you babies have to while over everything and blow things way out of proportion. You are the reason why /vp/ is total dog shit.
