Anyone else play pokemon in a language they don't speak? I feel like it's a lot more fun when you don't know what you're doing. Reminds me of picking up gen I for the first time.

I played B2 in Japanese. Kind of a mindfuck at first, but you get used to it rather quickly. I also did a run of Ruby and Y in German cause I'm learning the language. Pretty cool as the sentences are really simple and you can easily pick up some new phrases.

I played Y in German too, but I only speak a tiny bit of it. I feel like I learned a lot from it. My favorite phrase was Ass trainer, and the elusive Ass Duo. I also enjoyed that the pokecenters had a fit machine. Fun all around.

I'm Italian. I played Y in english just because I knew that if I ever talked about it with anyone, it would be on 4chan. THe only downside is that english pokemons are the most common and MM is a bit more complicated.
