Plasma had good intentions, Ghetsis used them for evil. Their intentions weren't really evil, so they weren't even a villainous team. They cant be the best because of that.

Team Flare isn't the best at all. In any case, Team Galactic is the worst, especially in Diamond and Pearl where they do nothing and just fail at the end. Like there wasn't even a bit of suspence. As soon as the legendary appeared Cyrus was already out and didn't even try anything.
Best teams are Plasma and Rocket... Oh wait, no. Step it up guys, the best team is Cipher.

Heh, I like Team Flare but if you think that they were "evil" for the sake of it then go play the game again. Lysandre was sick of the fact that we are too many people on the planet and we'll end up destroying it and ourselves. While the player/their friends/most NPCs think that diversity is awesome and blabla and the world will be fine. The whole game is opposing two world views, that are well represented with Xerneas, Life, and Yveltal, Death. The player/etc want everyone to live but this might eventually cause death for the whole world, and Lysandre wants a huge number of person to die for the sake of life.

Nobody said that, Plasma was a fucking funny team.
Team Flare didn't have enough lines so I like Plasma more.
The revamped ORAS teams also look very promising, specially team hydro.

I wouldn't say Flare is the best team (that'd be Galactic or original Plasma) but I really liked them and their battle themes.

I like Lysandre and the grunts, though the four girl scientists should have been fleshed up a little more (like Galactic Commanders)
