I'm gonna be using Skitty as my starter since I love the little guy.
I want my starter to be my most favorite, and also one that won't break the game by using it.
It's not too strong, but also something I can use in battle without too much issue.

Probably Swampert for me too, he was my bro the originals. I thought he was so fucking cool I learned how to breed so I could get based as fuck mudkip. Then the "Herd you like mud kip" thing happened and I just looked like a tool.

I don't really focus so much on my main as I do my first league team. Who ever I beat the league for the first time with will always be my go to crew.

Shit, man, I didn't even know it was latin for cloud until just now.
I just knew it as the word for those thin, wispy clouds that you see that don't really look like interesting things or tell you it's going to rain soon.
Am I crazy? Do they not teach kids about clouds in most schools? I really don't want to come off as pretentious, I just figured that it was common knowledge and now I don't know anymore. I'm starting to wonder what things I don't know about that most people consider elementary.

Probably a Liepard in honor of my cat who recently died a far more painful death than they deserved. Not only was his fur pattern similar, he even had a little 'hook' at the end of his tail that would shudder when he was excited.

Will likely use a shiny Axew I've been saving as well. No clue which or if I'll use a starter yet.

I think you're doing it wrong.

That said, I'm thinking of picking Mudkip, but I always wanted to use a Crawdaunt, so I may swap him out. Trying to use only 3rd gen Pokemon for my playthrough, but a lot of the ones I'm interested have overlapping types/weaknesses.

I really hope another hoenn grass type gets a mega, cause I don't wanna use Mega-Scep. I usually pick him as a starter in 3rd gen so I don't wanna overuse him this time around. Plus I hate dragon types, so that's a turn off as well.
