I would've never guessed they'd do this, actually change something or FAIRY type. When dookieshed said that it sounded absurd, mean even They're always making these little fairy things and they never know what to do with them so they lump them into Normal, Psychic, Grass, Water... and that's not really doing them justice. Normal is mainly the "realistic/basic/ordinary terrestrial" type. These little magical sprite pokemon are not accepted as "realistic/basic/ordinary terrestrial", like a cattle or a giraffe. They have no place there or in being subjected to those strengths and weaknesses. I'm a little surprised by it's strengths and weaknesses, but there is a niche for it: I notice Fairy is very strong against the 3 strong, most violent non-elemental types. the strength of Poison against them can be w/e you want really. I would rather it was resistant and they made like Water type weak against Poison for example
#3 I absolutely agree with almost all of those pokemon you mentioned. But Xerneas would be Normal like Arceus (it sickens me inside that his default type is Normal. It really does.) and Regigigas. Gothitelle is Psychic, Cresselia can be either or both. Snubbull I can see, but Granbull looks angry and violent, doesnt seem like a fairy to me.. Or Fairy/Fighting, Fairy/Dark But they have not taken it far enough. Gonna post some other pokemon that need retyping IMO. I think given time Fairy can become a great type that will grow more distinct and unique.
The move Play Rough is too
strong.It should only be like 50 power.
