I assumed for years the sparkle was because Suicune was plot-relevant, and it wasn't until late into the life or R/S that I realized I had come across my only shiny, at that point, as an ignorant, unawakened sheeple.
Worse was the ensuing hunt for my old Crystal cart, which I never did find.
Crown Beast Suicune was like the fucking second coming for me.
