Is anyone else pissed when they go on the GTS and find people wanting ridiculous shit for something very common?
I was looking for a haunter and most of them fucking wanted celebi's, mews and shit.
Why do they do this?

You can switch that off, but then it becomes a series of latios, latias, legendary birds, and legendary dogs.

Sooo....yeah. Super fucking annoying. I think this was done previously (gen4) as a way to clone mon, but, I'm not sure what is up nowadays.

Not that guy but its basic common sense. Put up one of your own semi-rare pokemon, starters or transfer only like Glameow for example, and make a reasonable request in return. It usually only take a couple of minutes for non-retarded requests to be filled, that's why you hardly ever see them when you look yourself.

You just aren't doing it right, OP
Step 1. Put up something breedable of value, past gen starters or something. Doesn't have to be perfect, even breeding rejects can work.
Step 2. Ask for what you want
Step 3. Let time takes it natural course
Step 4. If it works you get your new mon, if not then be patient or try something different.
I did it with Darumakas to be fair but they still raked in what I needed.

Anyone who does this are complete jews. It takes little to no time to whip up a breeding reject with IVs, or hunt down a mon with its HA from a friend safari, assuming you aren't a lazy moron. I've almost filled out my Dex by trading off 5IV breed rejects with egg moves, and I deliver exactly what I advertise.

I always put my Iv leftovers for any non-legendary pokemon and that work for me.
The problem is when you wan a HA or Eggmve pokemon, in that case ask for a Lv. 1 or 30 pokemon.

If i need anything, i just put up a Luvdisc on the GTS with the note /vp/. If you do this, you have to check for other /vp/oreons looking for Luvdiscs though. That usually gets rid of my breeding leftovers, so it's win/win
