Are Ice type Pokemon "cool"? Not really talking about the ones that are literally made out of ice though.
Let's say I pet a Glaceon on the head. Will my hand get cold?

The ones with fur or feathers probably are not so cold, but live in arctic environments and adapted to it.

Ones that are very much blocks of ice most likely are. I'd throw Kyruem in the category of being quite cold.

Lapras I'd imagine is semi-cold blooded, similar to a shark. Cloyster probably fits in somewhere as deep sea mollusks of something. Probably cold to the touch, but not ice cold.

If we're going to take the animu as canon (and really there's not much else to go off of), there's that one episode where Ash raced on a Rapidash, and the fire was only hot if it didn't like the person riding.

Possible Pokemon like Glaceon would be similarly so, it can make its skin ice cold if it wanted to make you go away.

I'd hazard on saying yes it's very cold on any freeze-spots on Amie. tfw you can't ride an Avalugg cause his freeze spot is the entire flat top part ;-;

Even the ones without definite freeze-spots I'd say are probably pleasantly cool to the touch on hot days like Jynx, Cloyster, Glaceon's fur.

why should it? just because something is body warm, you don't get burned. if something is dad cold, why should you get ice hand? thats only for extreme.
