Mike and his team were still stuck down in the cave just past the exit of the Cave of Origin. The battle was still raging, though it was close to ending. Most of the team was restricted by the intense heat, leaving only a few that could engage the enemy.

Samus, Mike's Blaziken, was one of those that could still fight. Exhausted as she was, she was still on her feet. Her opponent was out of Pokemon; that was a good sign, as it meant she could focus on him directly.

The Blaziken's focus returned too late, as she was rushed and seized by her opponent. This would make for an interesting scenario; having only one arm free, she lunged at The Fury's helmet with a Shadow Claw. If this didn't work, she might find herself laid out on the cavern floor. [0 crits]

Even with the barrier up the attack still connected enough to force the being back, a dangerous blow cutting across his body as he took the hit, the second attack also proved far too much for the Vileplume, the strike bringing it down instantly.

The Master crouched still as he observed the battle, seeing the Moltres go down leaving only his partner behind. Emotionlessly and expressionlessly he merely said, "Good show."

After a few more seconds he stood up tall, his body suddenly glowing with an immense surge of power before unleashing a massive wave of pure energy in all directions around him, filling the space wall to wall with force in his final desperate attack.

The last-ditch self-destruct was more than enough to send the Meganium flying through a wall and leave it critically injured in a pile of rubble. Said wall gave BM some cover from the magical explosion, but he was still hit with the resulting rubble and shockwave, sending him into the next wall over. The glitch sat in the middle of the blast, then the black covering the area faded and the shapes sat still in the air as it was left unable to fight.

Only just able to return the two Pokemon, Black Mage lay among the rubble in pain and unable to move.

Most of the Dark Warriors were far enough away from the fight to avoid damage, but Vilbert's Gengar suffered a fate not so different from the Meganium, except with the advantage of phasing through the wall to avoid the impact. Despite this the ghost was down for the count, and returned by its trainer.

Garland on the other hand was distracted trying to magically heal his hands, after stuffing them directly into a flaming jetpack to put rocks in it. Not one of his brighter ideas. The massive wave of energy knocked him down and sent him skidding along the floor, where he lay, too weak to lift his own armor. Bikke's Machamp walked out from where the other Warriors were hiding and began dragging the knight back to relative safety.

The blinding light would eventually fade out leaving behind a dust filled cavern which slowly revealed the sheer force behind the desperate attack leveled against them.

The smashed and scorched walls were now aglow by with the light of the caved in ceiling, the dust from the shattered masonry casting a shimmer in the air.

As the dust slowly began to clear it revealed the space where the strange person and his pokemon once stood, which aside from the large black scorch that surrounded the place, left no sign that there was anything left of the strange Master and his pokemon.

BM remains incapacitated, too weak and injured to do anything at the moment. The one thing currently functioning was his robotic prosthetic arm, which was immune to the pain and fatigue of the rest of his body. The artificial hand pulled one item after another out of the mage's pack, searching for some kind of healing potion or medical... thing that would get him on his feet. So far there was no luck.

The wave this place rode on in the wake of 5th Gen and the creation of /tr/ I doubt very many others still remember when it was called that was almost certainly a 1-time deal, as was the strong core that these threads maintained by branching off of the old Pokemon Generals on /v/. Trying to 'revive' the RP implies anyone feels connected enough to it in the first place. For pretty much everyone now, this place is just background noise. The old bar down the street; run down and visited only by the dwindling regulars.

I don't mean to be a sour-puss or anything, that's just the way I see it.

If you happen to be who I think you are, long time no see.

As for 6th, yes, but the guy doing the main planning for it disappeared on us. This time we hope to get both gen 6 and the Hoenn remakes doing something for us.

And I can't blame you for looking at it that way either, I can certainly see why you do. Hell, if I were a bit less optimistic I might see it that way too.

Forgot I had this tab open.

I was not really important or relevant in any way shape or form. I only tried to RP in the thread for a week maybe, but my posts were so absolutely hilariously long that any RP happening in "real time" would be delayed like 10 fucking minutes. I would have to proofread a behemoth of a post that would often times go over the character limit, only to be split into two or three posts. After I gave up, my geneticist would likely later be found completely and utterly unrecognizable; mangled to death in a hotel room after the Kabuto who often slept on his head evolved while he slept.

The masonry shattered above us as we rose into the air to escape the oncoming blast, the frame of my helmet buckling as we burst through, a shattering of glass raining down as my shattered helmet fell away as we rose up out of the ground, the damaged lines sparking as the dust cleared and we shot away into the skies above.

It was the same Elder that had been standing on your chest when you first awoke. He shouted out to you when it was obvious you had settled on him.

Another roar from the crowd as the ground began to shake. A gate began to open from the wall across from the Elder as a hulking shadow gathered behind it. Once it was fully opened the shape lumbered out from within, ducking under the lip of the gate.

It was a downright colossal Aggron making his way across the field towards Jace, but it was no normal Aggron. This one had two mutations, one a giant sharpened blade coming out of one arm, and the other an elongated shield.

He roared a challenge. How do you respond?

The force from the shockwave would toss the two free of each other, the Blaziken most likely falling away as the other's arms were forced off of it.

As the bright flash from the fire faded the two would soon find gravity rearing it's ugly head. The ground below would start growing larger and larger again as the two began dropping downwards rapidly, one burning as bright as a falling star as it trailed the other.

As they reached the surface they'd find themselves located in the middle a series of ruins, the ground now battered with cave ins from the explosion as well as another large crater where the insane Cosmonaut made his final fall.

The landscape around them showed more signs of the combat below but even through the damage the place was easy to recognize. It seems that teleporter had somehow sent them to the Ruins of Alpha.
