GAH! I havent been around since early XY and i just found out smogon banned the best slowbro set. Now i have to look for something else until that amazing mega slowbro gets released. What sets are you using in the mean time? Lets all rate, hate, and commentate.

You need both psycic and psyshock just in case the pokemon is holding an assault vest and the sassy nature is so you dont lower the attack because it gets alot of good physica move. The evs are pretty straight foward, Hp makes it so it can take more over all hit, a little defense because its already a beast on that spectrum, special attack because i want it hitting hard, a bit of special defense, and some speed because i had to lower it with the nature and want to make up for that. With eviolite i can choose a + Sp. Def nature since its defense is already huge, sorta like using a + Defense chansey

Is this your ingame Slowbro?

Also, what's the point in running Aqua Tail when you have Psyshock to hit for physical damage?
You're hindering yourself with dumping all those EVs into Attack when you have only 1 physical move. You should go full special with those Attack EVs moves to HP

Swagger's banned on smogon servers and random Wi-fi singles matches outside of Battle Spot are a clusterfuck and just not worth the hastle.
That being said, why not replace Psyshock with Zen Headbutt if you want to use the swagger boost and the EV investment to full extent?

what is there to understand?
item slot is completely wasted, Ability is almost always useless and outclassed by regenerator, EVs are a mess, nature is wrong, two stab attack of the same type
your set is a waste of a slot in a team

Oh, they banned it months ago.

Run some calcs. You'll find that Psyshock does only slightly more damage than Zen Headbutt with your spread. With that I'd say run Zen Headbutt as it will make the set better at doing what it's intended to do.

As far as the ability goes oblivious is perfect seeing as you have 3 moves that can be taunted.

Thats quite dumb with assault vest you cant use slack off or any other status moves now. Eviolite raises both defenses anyway so that set is inferior unless you have used your eviolite on something else on the team already.

They cant switch out or use u-turn if they are asleep meaning i'll kill them in the process. Also slowbro doesnt care for U-turn being a physical move and all.

252+ Atk Mega Scizor U-turn vs. +1 252 HP / 0+ Def Slowbro: 158-188 (40.1 - 47.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Thats basically the strongest u-turn you will see.

Eviolite has no effect on Slowbro. Slowbro and Slowking are a split evolution.

Run a set of Calm Mind/Moonblast/Shadow Ball/Stored Power on Gengar instead of using Clefable at all. You can change Moonblast with Softboiled but I wouldn't recommend it.
