Is the Toysrus deal for every Toysrus? I was planning on making a trip to the one in Times Square since it's understandably the most conscious of these promotions (in my area, NYC) to pre-order it but I wanted to be sure.

you will pay $1 for a reservation card with a barcode on the back, then you will bring the reservation card in on release date and they will scan it. Your gift card will be activated after that purchase.
It kinda sucks but I'm sure there is something else you would need to buy, so it is not worthless.
