It's basically a special sponge with WoW, so it can tank physical moves too. Every tank needs some passive damage protection too, along with some recovery.

Isn't that the exact same thing as Magic Bounce, except it doesn't relfect priority moves?

I don't know. In that example, it has 170 base attack. A 78 power ice-type Fake Out running off that high of an attack seems a bit extreme.
