I've had Pokemon Y for a month and have a question about Super Training

Why is it that when training Pokemon in Super Training, some stats will increase largely and some wont increase at all? I find it annoying that you're meant to take 3-5 minutes shooting a balloon with no guarantee that it will improve your Pokemon at all. Same goes for the punching bags.

Four points in the training machine = one point in that stat at level 100. More points = more growth in that stat over time.

Wot. The stat increase supposed to be incredibly straightforward depending on which mode you're playing on.

It takes less than a minute to finish one minigame depending on how naturally strong your mon, and the stat increase IS guaranteed after you finish it.

You're gonna have to post pictures if you want anon to help you at all.

okay here's a scenario
>I want to increase my Pokemon's defense

The chart moves after certain intervals. If you gain just one EV in a stat it moves that chart to the first interval.
You're still gaining stats, even if it doesn't show it.

Just buy vitamins and then start from level 3, it saves up a lot of time.
Getting power items / macho brace / pokerus and going for hordes is still faster though.

Nice thing about ST is you can use it anytime, even if all you have is your starter you can discover and get in the habit of EV training.
