How to fix Mega Gengar:
Remove its Mega stone and use SubDisable@Black Sludge.
There. Perfectly designed Pokemon that is perfectly viable without being broken. If you know how to play this, you can troll entire team, not just remove a threat or two via cheapest methods available

Here's the original one.

Anyway, I personally like the gen I style of pokemon more. I'm not overly fond of too many random stripes and spikes. I also like regular white scleras over black.

Just to clear stuff up, I'm not hating on the newer designs, but if I were to choose a favorite style I would go with the older one.

That is better, the third eye should have been on Mega alakazam or something i could imagine actually having a third eye, alternatively if they still wanted the mean look eye, they should have just replaced the regular eyes with them.

Garchomp is still alright, I like the red/dark blue contrast and all of those spikes just make rough skin a more logical ability. Mega chomp a shit thou, why did they give it a humanoid torso and pose?
