Fur coat halfs physical attacks, which with the right stuff can turn this guy into a physical wall if you play your cards right. Especially with Cotton guard, which ups defense 3 levels.
The classic Rocky Helmet or Leftovers debate for item.
You got STAB Return, Sucker Punch, Wild Charge and U-turn as any good physical attacking options.
Eh.
He's got Facade, but poisoning your wall is a bad idea too.
He might be better with throwing status and phasing. Toxic, Thunder wave and Roar.
....he gets Mimic and Refresh via egg move, which are the only two listed I see as noteworthy.
He sure lacks a movepool.
I could easily see him running a Rest Talk strategy. Return/Status, Roar, Rest, Sleep Talk. Constantly healing off his damage and either phasing, status inducing, or hitting with Stab Return.
I doubt Furfrou will be OHKOing anyone anytime soon uninvested, maybe invested too.
As for investments, I'm not sure. at 75/60/90 isn't that great. Sp.def bulk might be passable I think, but he'll need some sort of investment with his physical defense of 60, awesome ability aside.
