Gen V had arguably the highest concentration of worst new pokemon introduced in a generation, I said this at the start of Gen V and I'm going to be saying it well until the Pokemon franchise is dead and buried. When Gen V was first announced, I was beyond excited. One of the first thoughts in my head was "There's no way they will have another Fire/Fighting starter." I saw Tepig and my fears were relaxed. A pig. It would be fire/ground, or fire/rock. Something cool like that. I didn't even really care, honestly. I was more interested in Oshawott, and when it evolved into Dewott I was hopeful for a Water/Fighting final evolution. Then what did I get? Fucking Samurott. And they gave the fighting type to Emboar.
Fuck Gen V, the worst of all 6 gens.
