Like Pokemon XZ and YZ.

More Kalos expansion, but also include 50 evolutions. 20-30 new megas. No need for new mons.

Not happening. Part of the appeal of Pokemon is that you HAVE to trade with friends in order to catch them all. They're not going to remove that.

It's bad game design to make you need a different console and games and needing the ability to transfer such to Gen 6.
It's a pain in the ass and completely unecessary for ANYONE to have to do that.

More types of evolutions. Pre-evolutions, post-evolutions, Mega-evolutions.

Situations that put the actual trainer in some sort of danger. On the flipside, a way to actually level up the trainer him/herself. Perhaps through achievements.

Smarter Match Battles. Perhaps like in the anime. Picture this: Both you and the Gym Leader have 6 pokemon. But the match is a 3 vs. 3 match. Both of you send out your first pokemon. But if the Gym Leader realizes you're using a strong pokemon he'll have a stronger pokemon at the ready. If you barely squeak by, he'll use a different one.

A secret fourth starter. Having it changes the game a bit.

Voice acting. Having the pokemon talk is too much for the main game. (721 pokemon x several different languages. Need I say more?) But during cutscenes? That would be cool!

Break up the battle mechanics a bit. Anyone who's played Final Fantasy VI (III in US) will know what I mean. It's the same battles with the same set of rules. Change things up a bit! Hell, if you were actually able to battle things that WEREN'T pokemon that would be cool too!

I'm hoping for them to actually utilize potential here. If it can handle Xenoblade and then some, there's no reason not to have a huge region 9or maybe revisiting a previous one) and some incredible post game stuff.

Agreed with the transferring too. It's incredibly convoluted and needless to require 4 generations of games to have your best stuff on top of one time only event bullshit.

Then why start at all?
Any franchise needs constant fresh meat or it dies. Make it easier to bring new kids in. Keep version exclusives, but NOTHING exclusive to older gens/older consoles/expired distributions.

Because loads of people do have the previous games and are prepared to trade. Your argument might have had weight prior to gen4, but all the things not in gen6 are easily obtainable on the GTS at this point

More mons I want a lot more because gen 6 was a huge letdown. A few new megas not too much. A veteran or hard mode or at least being able to skip the usual how to catch a Pokemon. An expansion to the fairy type too include more design since most are just cute things.

I like where gen V was going as far as the PWT was concerned. But I'd like to see a tournament that actually matters in-game.

I wouldn't mind it being more like the show where defeating gyms qualifies you for a tournament, and winning the tournament allows you to face the Elite Four.

Another thing more like the show that I'd like is more gym options. Instead of it just being eight gyms, make like at least 12 of them and let us choose which badges we wanna get to qualify for the tourney/E4. Then in the post-game you can go back to the ones you didn't do and face them at full power, as well as the rest of them.
