I'm building a team for this and I've got Mawile, Klefki, Azumarril, Togekiss, and Clefable lined up. I need suggestions for a sixth.

I'm worried my team is rather slow. Should I make the sixth slot a trick roomer to make up for Mawile, or go with more conventional offense?

You might as well use Whimsicott to set up Trick Room. Try packing Worry Seed for opposing Mega Mawiles and Pranksters too.

Half of the pokemon in this competition are just as slow. I'd go without trick room. Also, worry seed Whimsicott is a must-have to deal with M-Mawile. Also, what set are you running on your Clefable? I wanted to use one too...

What do you guys think of bringing along Granbull for this competition, possibly paired up with Trick Room?
He's normally slower than both Mawiles without any speed investment, and I'm sure he can destroy most of the Fairies that have high Sp.Def but low Defense.

I run a Bold nature, with max investment in HP and Def to ensure M-Mawile won't kill it. As for moves, Worry Seed, dual screens, and some attacking move. Maybe Giga Drain, or Moonblast. Guess it depends on how long you want it to live.

Should Sucker Punch on M-Mawile still be used for this competition even though everything except Gardevoir and Mime resist it?

I want to drop it for Play Rough/Iron Head/Fire Fang/Swords Dance but I'm not sure how needed a resisted priority move would be.

Why would you run Play Rough? It doesn't offer any coverage with Iron Head, and is the 10 more BP really worth a 10% chance to miss?

I'm going with a max speed jolly hyper cutter mmaw with iron head/sucker punch/substitute/taunt. Unsure if I should give it thunder/fire fang or not.

Is it worth having a super luck + scope lens togekiss? I imagine screens will be very popular and the 50% crit rate would help. I did something similar in the eevee friendly and it helped a ton.

I've never done an event like this but I have a team bred up for it.

Does anybody know what happens to your Battle Box for it? I'm assuming it locks it so you can't switch around mid-event but it lasts for a couple weeks, right?

Does it go away after the event is over? Will I be stuck with a locked mono-fairy Battle Box until the next special event?

here's my tentative team so far:

Whimisicott- shenanigans and has Giga drain to wall Azumalrills

Azumarill- gonna be gimmicky with belly drum here

Mega Gardevoir- i have a secret tech one in mind

Mega Mawile- I can't see how you wouldn't not use it also will be carrying fire fang

Togekiss- special wall parahax with nasty plot will carry flamethrower for Mawile

Dedenne- I have Whimiscott doing something else and can't fit worry seed so I'm going to use Entrainment to try and remove Huge Power, also will be doing some stuff with Nuzzle

My personal favorite is Destiny Bond Gardevoir.

Fire Blast Choice Specs Togekiss works, too.

And then, if you want to play with your enemy a little, take the ability away, and have someone else like Clefable setup and bully it.

I have adamant marill leftovers if anyone wants them. They all have belly drum and aqua jet and are in a luxury ball for some reason. Disc if you want one.

I've also got adamant intimidate mawiles with metal burst and fire fang. You can disc up for those too.

Probably only going to use the first three. I'm undecided on what the last slot should be. Something else that looks like it can threaten mawile in team preview.

I'm also wondering if scope lens + super luck togekiss might also be a good idea. 50% crit chance lets you go right through all the potential screen abuse people might use. I did something similar with leafeon in the eevee friendly and it helped a ton, but screens were on pretty much every team there so it might not be as useful in singles as it was in rotations.
