Right away I'm greeted with this. This was my first shiny ever, I caught it cause I thought it was a new pokemon. Also, I really liked to organize my Pokemon apparently, even if I wasn't doing it right.

Damn right.
Pokemon has never been as fun since I have all that knowledge, even if I try to ignore it. In the back of mind, knowing a mon is shit competitively and "poorly" trained, it can sometimes bother me.

Not saying I don't play competitive, I do moderately, but I can't enjoy a carefree play through of a game the same way I did as a kid.
