Anyways, its a great QD passer with Sleep Powder and an immunity to Poison. It can also use its own boosts decently enough.

Focus sash sleep powder and quiver dance with tinted lens is godly in singles and is usually my win condition. I've been down 3-1 against a m-blaziken, sylveon, and zapdos and still won. Granted the guy got greedy with trying to set up an sd with blaziken instead of just attacking.

how can a Pokemon be that useless in OU yet be unanimously voted to be banned in UU Venomoth wasn't even considered for BL last gen and XY UU has even better Pokemon to deal with it, the new UU council system is a joke, they just ban whichever flavor of the week Pokemon that wrecked them

OP is asking why the pokemon made the jump from completely irrelevant wto BL while a bunch of great mons are in UU. Because that's exactly it. Too good for UU, not good enough for OU. It's like how Delphox is extremely good in RU, but will never be good in OU because Victini does everything better, and Victini itself is a relatively niche choice in OU, though gaining popularity.
