Lucario is hideous.

It's just got such an ugly color scheme. That flat blue mixed yellow fur and the flat shitty grey on those spikes, ugh. Oh yeah, those fucking spikes. Obviously it's a common complaint but it's not like it's an unwarranted one. Lucario is Steel/Fighting, so you'd think the design would reflect that, but no, it's just got those goddamn spikes jutting out of it's fists, and one on it's chest for some reason? Why is that even there.

It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for how forced this ugly thing is.

I wouldn't go that far. It's popular with kids, casuals, and anime nerds. You can't get sucked into the idea that internet fetish subcultures really dictate the change or popularity of anything big.

Nothing at all. Solid Pokemon, great in battle, really popular and helps the franchise remain what it is. All the people who bitch about it should really consider that Pokemon needs mascot characters like Lucario to keep going. It always has, whether it was this guy, or Pikachu, or each generation's starters.

Could have been alright, the design is actually pretty good. However the problem is that GF decided it would be their new favorite mon.
It got Steel typing for aboslutely no fucking reason, don't give me muh-muh three small spikes (which looks more like bones anyway).This was just to make it competitive good.
Then it started getting shoved down our throats, first it got a movie, relative big role in DP, been milked to no end in the anime. Then gen VI came and GF decided to one-up themselves. Giving it even larger roles in both the games and the anime.
This is coming from a guy that doesn't even watch the anime, but everytime someone brings it up Lucario is always present.
GF sucked his dick so hard that he only appeals to childs, casuals and furries now.

The anime thing is just a part of it, I also said that it gets shoved down our throats in the games. Which I still play.
You're even fucked forced to use Lucario in the games to get the Mega ring. Who does that?

Wow, they chose one of the most popular Pokemon to use in the tutorial battle to teach you how to use a new mechanic. You're right, Anon, they are just shoving Lucario down our throats.

It's like they're making you choose Lucario as your starter, catch Lucario on every route, force you into 3-on-3 Lucario-only battles, the Pokemon Center nurses are all Lucario, Lucario invented the PC system, the Professor is a Lucario, and at the end you face the Champion of the Pokemon League: a Lucario with 6 Lucarios on his team.

Wow, they sure do have us by the nuts with this Lucario thing.
