mega kanga for example relies on it's mega fakeout to safely gain a new speedtier
fakeout is meant to protect either the user or the users ally from a dangerous turn.
the simple presence of inner focus prevents them from using the move to begin with rendering one of the limited 4 slots to be wasted.

It needs max HP plus 95+ base defense just to survive bravest bird. Inner Focus is still shit, Defiant would have been a far better ability if they wanted to make it good for Doubles.

I wish people would stop with the Mega Mom shit already, it's not going to counter it.

It is, however, going to be a nice check to Rock Slide spam in VGC, especially when the two biggest offenders, Garchomp and Tyranitar, both get OHKO'd by Ice Punch and Close Combat respectively.
