Let's say priority works differently in Gen VII.
Having a higher priority doesn't mean you go first; priority multiplies your speed in terms of 50%. So a priority of 1 would increase the user's speed by 50% for the turn, a priority of 2 would increase the user's speed by 100% for the turn, a priority of 3 would increase the user's speed by 150% of the turn, etc.

What gets fucked over? What benefits?
