Gentlemen, it is no secret that Pokemon is one of the most unbalanced games ever, with some of its types being incredibly OP while others are shit. The question is... How do WE fix this? Here's my proposal>Normal: Normal resists Psychic now >Fire: Fire does no longer resist Fairy and is SE against Poison while being resisted by Ground >Water: Water is now hit SE by Poison but also gains a resistance to Rock >Electric: Electric is now resisted by rock and hits Steel SE. Hit SE by Rock >Grass: Grass is no longer Hit SE by Flying and resists Fairy >Ice: Ice now resists Water, Grass and hits Rock SE >Fighting: Fighting now hits Flying for neutral damage and no longer resists Bug, hit SE by Ghost >Poison: SE on Water, Bug and is hit neutrally by Ground but SEvely by Fire and resisted by Psychic and Dark. >Ground: Neutral on Poison, but resists Fire >Flying: No longer SE on Grass, it also is hit neutrally by Fighting >Psychic: Resisted by Normal, but it becomes SE on Fairy and Ghost. It also now resists Poison. >Bug: No longer resisted by Fighting, Ghost and Fairy, Hit SE by Poison and resists Dark. Resisted by Rock. >Rock: resists Bug and itself, hits Electric SE. >Ghost: Doesn't resist Bug, hit SE by Psychic and hits Fighting SE >Dragon: It's no longer hit SE by Fairy >Dark: Resisted by Bug, resists Poison >Steel: Hit SE by Electric and no longer resists Psychic. >Fairy: No longer hits Dragon SE, hit SE by Psychic and is resisted by Grass. It isn't resisted by Poison and resists Ghost. I shall explain the reasoning behind all these in a post shortly following this one. And so we begin, feel free to lay down your fedoras, start scratching your heads/neckbeards and give your own ideas. Also do h8 and r8, m8s, I'll be listening to all suggestions you make.

Alright, now I do explain all the changes:>Normal: I simply wanted to throw a bone at it. Even if its a small one. >Fire: It simply didn't make sense for it to resist Fairy, and heat causes chemical reactions that can destroy toxic substances and cause poisonous biochemicals to break down. I also thought that Ground ought to resist Fire because you simply can't burn that shit. >Water: Hit SE by Poison because pollution and resists rock because I'm secretly Masuda. >Electric: SE on Steel because it conducts electricity and NVE on Rock because it does not. >Grass: Flying weakness never made any sense. If anything, Grass could even resists Flying, for plants are firmly ingrained in the floor and it's tremendously difficult for wind to make them fall. Also resists fairy because nature benefits from fairy's magic and yada yada yada. >Ice: Cold freezes Water, plants die in the cold and Ice causes rocks to burst when the water inside their fissures freezes. >Fighting: I kind of understand why Flying is SE against Fighting, but I don't really get why Birds would take a punch better than anything else. Also, Bug resistance made no sense and it's only logical that Ghost was SE on Fighting. Poison: Bugs die when poisoned. So does anything else, I know, but Bugs are specially vulnerable to poisons due to how their organisms work and how they usually live in swarms. Also pesticides. Besides that it made no sense for Ground to be SE against Poison and I thought that Dark could use a small defensive boost. Psychic: This typing desperately needed a boost, plus being SE against fairy made sense as a representation of 'Science vs Magic'. I also thought that was a valid reason to make Psychic SE to Ghost. I also made Psychic resist poison because with science we can elaborate antidotes to neutralize most poisons. (1/2)

Thus, offensive nerf and defensive boost. >Steel: After loosing its resistance to two of the three immaterial typings (AKA: Ghost and Dark), it no longer made sense for it to keep its resistance to Psychic. >Fairy: I believe Fairy should be a defensive typing on par with the likes of Water and maybe even Steel, but also having the capacity to be spammed quite a bit. Not too much or to effectively (since that'd make it Dragon all over again), but just enough so. All in all, I believe these changes would benefit the metagame and make it much more balanced.

I take all suggestions you may have for buffing Normal, you know?, I'll also remove that change from the chart if you really think it shouldn't be.
The logic behind the change was that those that are 'Normal' do tend to ignore and/or pic on the more intellectually gifted.
