>>21067449Except Gallade will have absolutely nothing in common with Victini, and no one ever used Gengar as a replacement for Aegislash. Victini was a Fire type nuke with a great typing for UU (Fighting, Fire, Grass, Psychic, and Fairy resists were fucking huge) which allowed it to switch in on lots of mons if rocks were off the field since it had phenomenal 100/100/100 bulk. Being Fire type it also meant WoW was damn near useless in UU for as long as it was in the tier. Victini's best set was Banded, which allowed it to rip apart walls, while its Scarf set let it rip through offensive teams.
Gallade is projected to have 160 attack which is nice, but it can't run an item, doesn't have an ability that makes up for its stats while being useless in UU, might have decent speed (in a tier where everything can run a scarf), but will undeniably have horrible bulk and one of the worst typings in the game. Close Combat will hit kind of hard while making it a one turn wonder that gets scared out by any scarfer ever (or the ever present Aerodactyl). It will never take Victini's place and probably won't find its way onto many teams. I'm seeing it as BL2 by the end of the generation, down there with Houndoominite.
