this sounds more like a team leader now, Team Smogon, all grunts have lower UU mons and the admins have a mix of the best UU mons and worse OU mons

I thought the BW2 rival was pretty cool. it's just that his story is pointless and shoehorned in. If you consider N a rival then I think he's the best next to Blue/Gary. They both were the "final bosses" of their games and had grand aspirations. N more so since he caught an actual Legendary to carry out his mission.
